Comcast Digital Upgrade Information
Work to upgrade our building to digital
cable has begun. Please note that on the day your riser is being
worked on, cable will be unavailable in your unit.
On Monday, February 23rd, work will
continue on the 4 riser. After that riser is complete, the order of
the work will be the 3 riser, 5 riser, 2 riser, 6 riser, 1 riser, and
finally the 7 riser. Each riser should take approximately one day,
however, we are working with an old building, and unexpected problems may
arise. We estimate the actual work in each unit to take about 30
minutes. The exception to that is the 3rd floor units. The 3rd
floor units will take longer as this is where the main pipes are located.
Comcast estimates the 3rd floor units to take about 1 to 2 hours. As
work progresses, we will make every effort to keep this website updated to
keep you informed of the progress. Notices will also be posted on
property.
Once the project has been completed, you
will be able to update your Comcast subscription if you wish. You will
be able to add digital cable, premium channels, and high speed internet
service. Comcast offers bundle pricing based on the options that you
choose, and specials are offered regularly. Contact Comcast directly
to get a price quote on these items. You may click on the Comcast link

1-800-COMCAST. Be sure to point out that you are a member of the
condominium association and that the basic cable is paid by the association.
Cable customers receive a discount on internet services, so your cost should
be somewhat lower. You will be responsible for the cost of any
digital, premium channels, or internet services that you add. These
are billed separately.
Please note that those who participate in
the "resort rental program" will not be able to upgrade as stated above.
Your units have a resort provided private grouping that takes up half the
cable bandwidth. Contact the resort for more information.
